In order for students to be eligible to sit for the Board of Certification (BOC) exam and become a certified athletic trainer (AT), they must graduate from a Commission on Accreditation for Athletic Training Education (CAATE)-accredited program. When a program is accredited, it means they meet the minimum standards necessary to prepare entry-level professionals. The Athletic Training program at Adrian College has been accredited since 2010. Please access the CAATE Program Information and Outcomes Page to learn more about the program.
The Adrian College Teacher Education Program is granted Accreditation by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) for a period of seven years, from October 2019 to December 2026. This accreditation certifies that the forenamed professional education program has provided evidence that the program adheres to CAEP’s quality principles.
