Pursuing your dream career starts with the next phase of your education. When you enroll in graduate school at Adrian College, you’re beginning more than advanced training in your field; you’re accelerating your professional journey.
The Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration and Leadership (HAL) program is designed to develop ethical decision-making skills and application of theory and best practice to timely topics and issues in the field, resulting in solutions-driven leadership that supports diversity, inclusion, and equity efforts in higher education.
The HAL program has a designed and strategically paced curriculum with two embedded, highly marketable certificates: Institutional Effectiveness and Leadership.
Graduate in as few as 12 months
The Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration and Leadership is awarded to students who have completed the 30 required credit hours with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
Each Post-Baccalaureate Certificate is awarded to students who have completed the 15 required credit hours with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.

Adrian College Undergraduates
Adrian College undergraduate students are eligible for provisional admission through the 3+2 program if they have earned a minimum of 90 credit hours and have a cumulative 3.0 grade point average.
Prospective Graduate Students with Bachelor’s Degrees
Students who have earned a bachelor’s degree from an accredited higher education institution are eligible for admission if they have a cumulative undergraduate grade point average of 3.0 or above. They may apply prior to the semester in which they wish to matriculate.
For the Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration and Leadership, Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Higher Education Leadership, or the Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Higher Education Institutional Effectiveness programs.
