The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology offers students technical skills in web development, database management, operating system knowledge, programming, networking and hardware deployment. By the end of the program, students will gain technical skills preparing them to sit for the CompTIA A+ and Network+ examinations and take a variety of roles in Information Technology.

Skills in IT generally fall into two broad categories: technical skills and soft skills. The technical skills included in this program are:

  • Web Development
  • Database Management
  • Operating Systems
  • Programming
  • Technical Writing
  • Hardware Deployment

This program is notably light on hardware topics in general. This is on purpose, as very few IT jobs today require physical deployments, so we focus on additional skills you'll need to get hired over the next decade: Cloud Computing & Information Security.

IT professionals are responsible for keeping corporations connected and online. They maintain the backbone of the modern economy and are therefore in incredibly high demand, with Computer and Information Managers earning a median salary of over $150,000.

Entry-level roles tend to earn between $70,000 and $100,000 depending on the role. Fill out the form to learn more.
